The first institute of IT by Daffodil Group

 

Daffodil Institute of Information Technology (Bengali: ড্যাফোডিলতথ্যওপ্রযুক্তিপ্রতিষ্ঠান) or DIIT is well known IT education provider in Bangladesh.

The Chairman of Daffodil group MR. Sabur Khan established it in 1997.

DIIT is one of the main educational institutes established by Daffodil group.

DIIT has couple of undergraduate programs and a few foreign diploma and local diploma programs.

The head of the institute is Mr. Nuruzzaman (Executive Director) and academic head is Dr. Md. Fokhray Hossain.

DIIT accredited by the NCC Education UK and also by University of Greenwich in Uk.

<Sabur Khan>

Mr. Md. Sabur Khan^[2] is the Immediate (December 18, 2013) Past President of Dhaka Chamber of Commerce & Industry.^[1] 

He established his business in 1990 with Daffodil Computers Limited (DCL), an IT conglomerate of the country. Later on, he diversified himself in education ventures and initiated some education concerns- Daffodil International University (DIU) is one of them.

Mr. Khan is also the past president of Bangladesh Computer Samity (BCS).

Nowadays he is creating entrepreneurs and leaders for various industries.
